Every Missouri childcare provider, employee or volunteer responsible for the supervision of children is required to complete Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid training. Training through Accredited CPR Services will fulfill this training requirement for CPR and First Aid, and all participants who successfully complete the training will be certified for 2 years.  Additionally,  because we are approved by Child Care Aware and the Missouri Workshop Calendar, we will upload your certifications to the state and provide you with clock hours for your training.

There are two options to complete your CPR and First Aid training requirements for childcare.  One option would be to complete an individual blended training session, and the second option would be to join a group class.  Both classes provide the same certifications, but vary in the cost, scheduling, location, class length and availability.

To complete an individual blended training,  I would email you study materials to go over independently, with a simple self test at the end of the packet. When you come in for your class at our south city location, since you have already completed the learning portion of the class, all you need to do is the hands-on with the manikins. The in class time would be about 30 minutes, but you would still receive your 3 clock hours (you receive credit for the time you spend studying independently). The cost for this is $40 for CPR/AED certification and $30 for First Aid certification ($70 total). Please contact us to receive the study materials to begin the process.

The second option for  training and certification is to join a group class.  You must pre register to reserve your spot in a group class.  Group classes are being held at the Holiday Inn Forest Park (5915 Wilson Ave. 63110), located at Hampton Ave and Highway 44 directly across from the Metro Bus stop (#90). You do not need to study any information ahead of time for a group class – the 3 hour class will include all the training and hands on practice for CPR/AED and First Aid.  When you successfully complete the class, you will leave with your certification cards, and your certification information and clock hours will be uploaded to the state.  The cost to enroll in a group certification class is $35 for CPR/AED certification and $20 for First Aid certification ($55 total). Please be advised, we cannot accept late arrivals to a class.  Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled class time to complete paperwork.  There are no refunds for late arrivals/no shows.  Please see the list below of upcoming trainings and click on a desired date and time to register.
